Gizlilik Politikası
Bu politika, Simply Words mobil uygulamasını ("Uygulama") kullandığında hangi kişisel verilerin işlendiğini, neden işlendiğini ve haklarını açıklar. 6698 sayılı Kişisel Verilerin Korunması Kanunu (KVKK) ve geçerli olduğu ölçüde Avrupa Birliği Genel Veri Koruma Tüzüğü (GDPR) esas alınmıştır.

3. Mikrofon, konuşma tanıma ve çeviri
- Telaffuz: Mikrofon yalnızca Telaffuz alıştırmasında ve sen konuşma düğmesine bastığında kullanılır. Söylediğin kelime cihazının konuşma tanıma hizmetiyle (Android'de Google, iOS'ta Apple) metne çevrilir; bu hizmet, sesi işlemek için ilgili şirketin sunucularını kullanabilir. Simply Words ses kaydı saklamaz ve sunucularına göndermez.
- Çeviri aracı: Çeviri cihazında yapılır (Android'de Google ML Kit, iOS'ta Apple Translation). Yazdığın metin Simply Words sunucularına gönderilmez.
- Fotoğraflar: Fotoğraf arşivine yalnızca profil fotoğrafı seçmek veya paylaşım kartını kaydetmek istediğinde, senin izninle erişilir.
4. Arkadaşlarının gördükleri
Arkadaş olduğun kişiler kullanıcı adını, profil fotoğrafını, seviyeni, serini, haftalık puanını, rütbeni ve kart sayını görebilir. Hangi kelimeleri öğrendiğin gibi ayrıntılar görünmez. Bir arkadaşı listeden çıkarabilirsin.
5. Hizmet sağlayıcılar ve yurt dışına aktarım
- Supabase (veritabanı, kimlik doğrulama ve dosya depolama altyapısı). Veriler, Supabase'in yurt dışındaki sunucularında saklanır.
- Apple App Store ve Google Play (uygulama dağıtımı, satın alma ve ödeme).
- RevenueCat (abonelik durumunun doğrulanması; anonim kullanıcı kimliği ve satın alma bilgisi).
- Google ve Apple konuşma tanıma hizmetleri (yalnızca Telaffuz alıştırmasında).
Bu aktarımlar, hizmetin sunulabilmesi için zorunludur ve KVKK'nın yurt dışına aktarıma ilişkin hükümlerine uygun güvencelerle yapılır. Şu anda Uygulamada üçüncü taraf reklam veya analitik aracı bulunmamaktadır; eklenirse bu politika önceden güncellenir.
6. Hukuki sebep
Verilerin, seninle yaptığımız kullanım sözleşmesinin kurulması ve ifası (KVKK m.5/2-c), hukuki yükümlülüklerimiz (m.5/2-ç) ve temel hak ve özgürlüklerine zarar vermemek kaydıyla meşru menfaatimiz (m.5/2-f; örneğin güvenlik ve kötüye kullanımın önlenmesi) hukuki sebeplerine dayanarak işlenir.
7. Saklama süresi
Verilerini hesabın açık olduğu sürece saklarız. Hesabını sildiğinde hesabınla ilişkili tüm veriler silinir; sistem yedeklerinden en geç 30 gün içinde kalkar. Yasal olarak saklamamız gereken kayıtlar varsa yalnızca gereken süre boyunca tutulur.
8. Güvenlik
Tüm bağlantılar şifrelidir (HTTPS). Veritabanında her kullanıcı yalnızca kendi verilerine erişebilir; ödüller, seri ve abonelik gibi bilgiler sunucu tarafında korunur.
9. Haklarınız
KVKK'nın 11. maddesi (ve geçerliyse GDPR) kapsamında; verilerinin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, bilgi isteme, düzeltilmesini veya silinmesini isteme, aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri öğrenme, işlemeye itiraz etme ve zarara uğraman hâlinde giderilmesini talep etme haklarına sahipsin. Taleplerini kayıtlı e-posta adresinden destek@simplywordsapp.com adresine iletebilirsin; en geç 30 gün içinde yanıt verilir. Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurulu'na şikâyet hakkın saklıdır.
10. Çocuklar
Uygulama 13 yaşından küçük çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bu yaştaki çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamayız. 18 yaşından küçüksen Uygulamayı ebeveyninin veya velinin izniyle kullanmalısın.
11. Değişiklikler
Bu politikayı güncelleyebiliriz. Önemli değişiklikleri Uygulama içinde veya bu sayfada duyururuz. Sayfanın başındaki tarih son güncellemeyi gösterir.
Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal data is processed when you use the Simply Words mobile app (the "App"), why, and what your rights are. It follows the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. Microphone, speech recognition and translation
- Pronunciation: The microphone is used only in the Pronunciation exercise, when you press the speak button. Your speech is converted to text by your device's speech recognition service (Google on Android, Apple on iOS), which may use that company's servers. Simply Words does not store audio and does not send it to its servers.
- Translation tool: Translation runs on your device (Google ML Kit on Android, Apple Translation on iOS). Your text is not sent to Simply Words servers.
- Photos: Your photo library is accessed only with your permission, when you choose a profile photo or save a share card.
4. What your friends can see
People you are friends with can see your username, profile photo, level, streak, weekly points, rank and number of cards. Details such as which words you learned are not shown. You can remove a friend from your list.
5. Service providers and international transfers
- Supabase (database, authentication and file storage). Data is stored on Supabase servers outside Türkiye.
- Apple App Store and Google Play (distribution, purchases and payments).
- RevenueCat (subscription status verification; an anonymous user ID and purchase information).
- Google and Apple speech recognition (only in the Pronunciation exercise).
These transfers are necessary to provide the service and are made with safeguards in line with the KVKK rules on international transfers. The App currently contains no third-party advertising or analytics tools; if any are added, this policy will be updated beforehand.
6. Legal basis
We process your data to enter into and perform our agreement with you, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests (such as security and preventing abuse) where these do not override your rights.
7. Retention
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, all data linked to it is deleted and is removed from system backups within 30 days at the latest. Any records we are legally required to keep are kept only for as long as required.
8. Security
All connections are encrypted (HTTPS). In the database each user can access only their own data; rewards, streaks and subscriptions are protected on the server.
9. Your rights
Under Article 11 of the KVKK (and the GDPR where applicable) you may ask whether your data is processed, request information, ask for correction or deletion, learn which third parties it was shared with, object to processing and claim compensation for damages. Send requests from your registered email address to destek@simplywordsapp.com; we reply within 30 days. You may also complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or your local supervisory authority.
10. Children
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you are under 18, use the App with the permission of a parent or guardian.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Important changes will be announced in the App or on this page. The date at the top shows the latest update.
